Pretty Girls

I haven't blogged for a while about anything other than work, gardening and grandbabies. So here is a picture of old wedding stuff. We are getting ready for new wedding stuff. I can't wait to see everyone again!

Other interesting information. Amanda and her grandmother in law gathered some Four O'clock seeds for me. I am really excited about planting shared seeds. (Ann, I can use more from your collection from Daddy's garden!) I have plenty of sunflower seeds for anyone interested next spring.

That was my FUN work day!

Paula left the boys here while she picked up Jacksons medicine. They are so sweet. Jackson likes Poppa best of all. He squirmed out of my lap to follow Poppa around the shop. Tucker is just so content, such a smiling baby! Jackson just cracks up up. He took a firetruck puzzle piece and drove it along the floor making truck sounds. He continued making the truck sounds after running into my file cabinet and hurting himself. He was crying but still driving the truck puzzle piece. Boys are so funny.

This was my Saturday Morning!

I decided I better get a picture of the humingbirds before the cold weather sent them south. I have to fill up the feeders almost every day. But I really enjoy watching them in action. After they head south, I will put up the Goldfinch feeders(nyger seed), they come in November, a dull grey color, turn a beautiful yellow in spring, then head north in May! God has a perfect plan for making life beautiful!

That's Enough About Me, What Do You Think About Me!

That's what I thought of when I read Paula's comment to Amanda to update her blog. That she could write about the boys. I could write about them all day. I may be working and feeling grumpy, but then I think about our precious grandchildren, and I smile!
Ronnie says he is going to decorate that HUGE cedar tree in our backyard for the grandchildren for Christmas! He hasn't hung a Christmas decoration in 30 YEARS! So you know how grandchildren make him feel.
The only consolation I feel about the end of summer and the gardening season, is that we can start getting ready for the HOLIDAYS! Well, of course, I will have to plant some spring blooming bulbs, and buy some mums, and corn stalks and hay bales.

Grandparents Day

I was able to see all my kids and grandkids all weekend. The picture of Tucker is a rerun, but I didn't take any new of him. Saturday, Jackson stayed with us all day. He was actually reading a book while chaseing Lily in this picture. Andrea, Steve and Veronika had pictures made.
Saturday, I was watering the yard and Jackson and Veronika ran through the sprinkler. They were so funny. Veronika ran through the water then through the fresh plowed dirt of my garden, and got a little dirty. Jackson just stood in one spot and let the water hit him when it circulated back. You'll have to piture it, I didn't take my camera outside.
Then I took all three for a short walk after dinner, actually Amanda had to help me. We had the wagon and the stroller.
Everyone came to church on Sunday. A new class started for parents of young children, Brad and Paula, (and Tucker) went to that.
Then we all went to Dixie Cafe. We have 13 when we are together. I feel sorry for our servers.
But we had fun being together.
Jackson doesn't like to sit long enough for a whole meal. He cries for his "Poppa", he knows Ronnie will take him outside to play. It's funny because he loves to eat.

What Happened?

Ok, the last post, I hit "Publish Post", then I did not hit "Replublish Entire Post". I guess that is where I have been.
Did you miss me?

Tucker, The Cutie Pie

Paula took Jackson to MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, and we kept Tucker while they had their moring meeting. Tucker was so sweet, just laughing at everything. Then he went right to sleep and slept until him mommy came to get him. Our customers really enjoyed seeing a baby here.

Saturday, Aug. 26, Mary and Rose brought Aunt Marion and Aunt Juanita out to visit with Mother and I. We had such a great time. We were all laughing at each others stories. It was such a great visit. Mother really enjoyed it. Thanks, Mary and Rose!

Work on Labor Day!

We have spent the whole day at the shop. Ron is working on a truck. I did learn how to send pictures to shutterfly to have prints mailed to me.

Ohio Conference

This is Ron at our booth at the Land & Maritime Supply Chain Conference, (Department of Defense) We were exhibiting at the conference. Other exhibitors were AM General, Lockheed Martin, really big companies. We are such small potatoes. But we made some good contacts.
I love living in a hotel for a few days. Even working at the booth, its like a vacation to be talking to people, eating out, somebody cleaning our room.
When we got back we had to work from 8 am to 9 pm catching up on paperwork. Amanda and the guys took good care of the shop for us.
