That's what I thought of when I read Paula's comment to Amanda to update her blog. That she could write about the boys. I could write about them all day. I may be working and feeling grumpy, but then I think about our precious grandchildren, and I smile!
Ronnie says he is going to decorate that HUGE cedar tree in our backyard for the grandchildren for Christmas! He hasn't hung a Christmas decoration in 30 YEARS! So you know how grandchildren make him feel.
The only consolation I feel about the end of summer and the gardening season, is that we can start getting ready for the HOLIDAYS! Well, of course, I will have to plant some spring blooming bulbs, and buy some mums, and corn stalks and hay bales.

Thats funny. My mom already sent out an email asking about scheduling the holidays with all her kids/grandkids!
Last Christmas we decorated our front yard. The grandkids loved it. One year we put up a small Christmas tree and Austin did not like it. We have always had Christmas eve with everyone here. But Angie told me this week that her Mother-in-law wants them to go to Tennessee for Christmas. At first I was really sad, but the more I thought about it, we just may all go. I'm sure Sharon would love that. Last Thanksgiving I had all the "In Laws" at my home. Dans Parents, Sean's Parents & Stacy's parents. We really had a great time.
